A private section is a brand within Hype Mas. A private section is responsible for its own production, payment collection, and ensuring the timely delivery of your costume.  Meanwhile, Hype Mas assumes responsibility for your comprehensive "Hype Experience," covering all aspects from music, security, food, drinks, to logistical arrangements on carnival day/s.


On the other hand, a promoted section aligns with Hype Mas, acting as an extension to promote a specific section to patrons. Under this arrangement, Hype Mas takes charge of producing and delivering your costume, orchestrating the overall experience, and managing payment collection processes.


Hype Mas and Private section work in partnership with Playmas to manage your orders.  Please ensure you have created an Playmas account to puraches and make additional payments on your order. https://hypemas.playmas.app/events.


FInal payment for Costumes is 4th June 2025.


Please note that refunds are not feasible for our products. Once an order is placed, garments and materials are immediately procured, and all items are meticulously custom-made to your specific size and requirements.

Every payment made towards your costume is allocated to the production process, covering on-the-road expenses, and managing business overheads. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate refund requests once the order has been placed.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we strive to deliver high-quality, tailor-made products and an exceptional experience to each of our valued customers. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team.


You are welcome to cancel your booking at any time; however, please note that any deposit or payments made to date are non-refundable.

If you decide to sell your package to another individual, we require written notice confirming the transfer of the order to the new party. This ensures transparency and clarity in the transfer process.

We appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy and your cooperation in adhering to the necessary procedures. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.


No, Dutty Sunday is included in all costume packages. 


Masqueraders are reminded to accurately input their options and sizes at the time of ordering. Please ensure that all selections are carefully reviewed before finalizing your order.

Once an order has been placed, body options are considered final and cannot be altered or upgraded. It is essential to double-check your choices to ensure they align with your preferences and specifications.

We appreciate your attention to detail and understanding of our policy regarding order modifications. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team.


Distribution dates for each section will be sent via email and posted on our social media, It is crucial that you attend the designated collection day for your section or any subsequent collection day thereafter.

To collect your costume, please bring a copy of your paid-in-full confirmation along with a valid form of photo ID (driver’s license or passport only). Please note that we cannot release costumes without these documents.

After the final distribution date, any uncollected costumes and payments will be forfeited and retained by Hype Mas.


Here are a few important reminders to help make your collection experience hassle-free:

  1. Payment in Full: Please ensure that your package has been paid for in full before attending distribution. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payments during the distribution process.
  2. Collection by Named Individual: Packages must be collected by the person named in the order or by a confirmed designated representative listed on your Playmas account. You can use your Playmas account to assign collection to another party. Please note that we cannot accept emailed notifications.
  3. Status Confirmation: Check that the status of your order is "Paid In Full Confirmation" on the Playmas system. If you believe you have paid in full and the status does not reflect this, please contact us immediately. Do not attempt to collect your costume or package without the paid in full status on your account.
  4. Designated Collection Day: Attend your designated day for collection or any distribution day thereafter. Priority will be given to those collecting on their assigned days. Please try to collect on your assigned day to help ease congestion and wait times.
  5. Valid Photo ID: Have your valid photo ID ready when you reach the front of the queue. This will help speed up the process. We cannot issue your package without production of a valid form of photo ID.

Without the above documentation and adherence to these guidelines, we will be unable to release any costumes.

Here's what you can expect:

  1. Delicious Meals and Refreshments: Indulge in a delectable spread including breakfast, snacks, a hot lunch, and refreshing beverages throughout the day.
  2. Secure Environment: Enjoy peace of mind as you revel in the festivities within our roped-off band. We provide top-notch security, road management, stewards, and even a police escort to ensure your safety.
  3. Convenience: On Carnival Monday, we have toilets available on the road for your convenience.
  4. Freedom to Roam: Explore the band and mingle with friends in other sections at your leisure. While you're free to roam, we kindly ask that you return to your section as we move off and at the judging point for your safety.

To participate in our band on Sunday and Monday, please note that you must be 21 years or older at the time of the event. ID will be required upon collection to verify your age.

In the event that Notting Hill Carnival (NHC) is cancelled or postponed for any reason, please note that our non-refundable policy remains in effect. Any payments made up to that point will be transferred to the new proposed date of NHC or to the following year's NHC, whichever occurs sooner.
